'Flip Flop' floor lamp



Flip Flop lamp designed by Kurt Versen (1901-1942) This spun aluminum and steel version works as a an upright Torchiere or down as a reading light. built by   Kurt Versen Inc. New York, circa 1933. The lamp has a circular base with offset chrome support pole & chrome disc final. the chrome arm hinge allows spun aluminum shade to swivels up and down for desired light. design is at once art deco, industrial, and machine age and thoroughly modern.  Wired and in working condition; individual switches control the two standardsize bulbs up to 100W.
